Lord Send The Power

We say often, “Lord send the power.” I wonder if we really know what that means. It doesn’t mean that the power is going to drop supernaturally from the sky. No, it is going to spring forth from within you. The power of God lies within you, but it is up to you to call it forth.

Jesus pointed this out so clearly in John 7:37-39 (NCV)

37 On the last and most important day of the feast Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.

38 If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from that person’s heart, as the Scripture says.”

39 Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit. The Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet been raised to glory. But later, those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit.

The Grace of God is what warms our hearts to the blessings of God. When we are converted and express God’s favor, He blesses us to experience uncapped power through His Word and authority to perform His Will. ^DG
